We are searching for our next Assistant Village Manger

Your new role will be:

Working closely and collaboratively with the Village Manager, you will support the team in the management of all new residents, current residents and relevant stakeholders. You will deliver quality service creating a supportive and caring environment for our community. This role will support 2 villages in close proximity – the beautiful Bimbimbie Park (Merimbula) and Sanananda Village (Tura Beach).

This is a permanent position, 30 hours per week. ideally you will be able to work 4 days a week with an occasional Saturday morning.

*Flexibility with weekly hours depending on the candidate’s availability.

Aged care experience desirable but not necessary; we are looking for someone with the right attitude and personality!

You will have:

  • Previous relevant experience in a customer-focused role
  • Excellent people and communication skills, both written and oral and the ability to interact with residents with respect and empathy.
  • Demonstrated ability to prioritise and work under minimal supervision
  • Experience building positive relationships with key stakeholders, clients, colleagues and service providers
  • Resilience, strong commercial acumen and highly organised
  • A good understanding of the Retirement Villages Act or willingness to learn.

You are:

  • Confident managing administrative responsibilities.
  • A Windows, Excel, and PowerPoint, wiz, along with the ability to quickly learn other systems.
  • A go-getter, capable of working independently, thinking creatively, and demonstrating soft sales and customer service skills.

This role may require travel within NSW and ACT from time to time.
